Established in 2006, is a respected, up and coming independent stitch school offering a range of creative courses in design and art textiles. Accredited by City & Guilds, the centre is already gaining a national reputation of excellence.

is run by Julia Triston and Tracy A. Franklin – two professional and experienced tutors who have an excellent range of contemporary and traditional skills between them, teaching all of their courses to a very high standard.

is at the forefront of providing an alternative to college-based learning. All classes are run in Julia and Tracy’s inspiring art studios in Fowlers Yard – an accessible creative artist’s community in the heart of Durham City. For students who prefer to study from home, we also offer our courses as distance learning packages.
