Julia takes on commissions for textiles in public spaces, such as schools, museums and offices.  Each unique piece is site specific and designed from criteria set by her clients.  The textile art can be made small or large scale, and can be for indoor or outdoor use.

Julia can carry out these commissions by herself or can work with staff, students or focus groups to a structured timetable, or on a more informal resident placement where people are able to contribute to the commission during ‘drop-in’ sessions.  Julia can base these sessions in her studio or on site.
