PROGRAMME
Cost of workshops - £45 per workshop; £40 for two workshops

Details – Unless otherwise stated, all workshops are suitable for
beginners and those with some experience – the techniques/topics will be
adapted to suit your individual needs. All workshops will run in my
studio from 10 am – 3.30 pm (with a short lunch break). Please book
your place as soon as possible, as numbers are limited. Light
refreshments will be provided throughout the day and are included in the price
of the workshop.
WORKSHOPS
Machine
embroidery – Saturday 7th June; Saturday 12th
and Sunday 13th July
Take your machine where it
has never been before! Explore the
basics of machine embroidery – stitches and techniques – and build
a portfolio of samples in free machine embroidery. Come for just one day to top up your skills, or for a
two-day course, or more!
Over to you! – Friday

If you are looking for ways
to develop your own stitched textiles, or want to try something new but donÕt
know how to start, this is the workshop for you! Bring your own
work/ideas/unfinished projects for discussion and tuition. Spend the day working individually in a
supportive and creative group to move your work forwards and leave with renewed
passion for your own textile art!
Embellish,
adorn, enrich! Friday 23rd

From rich stitching and shiny shishas, to dangly bag charms and eye-catching accessories – embellishments are the big thing, and can really change an outfit and image. Come and explore decorative techniques in applying beads, mirrors, sequins and embellishments to a surface, or create something more three dimensional to add bling to your home or wardrobe!

STITCHBUSINESS is joint venture run by me and Tracy A
Franklin, from our studios 2 & 3 in Fowlers Yard. We offer a Master Class in stitched textiles, and City &
Guilds courses in design and embroidery, on a rolling programme and by distance
learning too. We are holding this
open day to showcase our studentsÕ work and offer information to anyone who may
be interested in one of our courses. If you are interested please give us a
